Qualifications

• Competent Person for Scaffolding certification or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Clear communication with team members and supervisors is essential.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and protocols is required.
• Ability to read scaffold plans, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffold systems per OSHA regulations and site requirements.
• Interpret scaffold drawings and work instructions to determine design and material needs.
• Perform pre-use scaffold inspections and address deficiencies.
• Assemble scaffold components including frames, braces, planks, ladders, and handrails.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety housekeeping rules.
• Climb ladders and work from scaffolds and elevated platforms with fall protection.
