Job summary

Matrix Service seeks a skilled scaffolder to erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding in industrial settings. You will read scaffold drawings, select proper materials, and ensure safe access at elevated locations in compliance with safety standards and site requirements.

The role requires hands-on experience with scaffold components, fall protection, and tool handling, with strong communication across teams and supervisors. Expect on-site work with safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Must be a Competent Person for Scaffolding with proven field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret scaffold drawings, plans, and specs.
• Strict adherence to industrial safety standards and protocols.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team and supervision.
• Experience with scaffold components, tools, and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding per drawings and specs.
• Ensure scaffolding safely supports loads and is compliant with OSHA.
• Perform pre-use inspections and address deficiencies.
• Train or supervise apprentices as needed.
• Maintain organized work areas and proper PPE usage.
