Job summary

The Budd Group is hiring an Industrial Sanitation Technician to support operations at an Automotive Assembly Plant in Cleveland, NC. You will keep the facility clean, safe, and running smoothly, including cleaning paint booths and surrounding areas with high-pressure washing equipment.

Shifts are Full-Time: Thursday & Friday 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM, and Sunday 4:00 PM – 4:30 AM; the role requires physical stamina and strict safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot, dirty conditions.
• Able to climb ladders and operate a 5K pressure washer.
• Must complete safety training (Ladder, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout).
• Excellent attendance record required.

Responsibilities

• Clean Paint Booth Stations and surrounding areas using approved chemicals and high-pressure washers (5K).
• Scrape windows, wipe down walls, replace ceiling filters, and apply protective coverings in booth areas.
• Lift metal flooring grates, clean beneath them, and clear out oven and flood sheet areas.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance like changing robot covers and grease applications.
• Safely climb ladders and navigate confined spaces during heavy-duty cleaning routines.

• Pay: $20.00-$21.00 / hour
