Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking a Sand Blaster for a client in New Kensington, PA. The role involves propelling a stream of abrasive material at surfaces under high pressure in a confined area and preparing metal surfaces for finishing.

You will set up blast booths, load and unload blast cabinets, operate sandblasting equipment, and follow established safety guidelines to ensure quality and worker safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Propel a stream of abrasive material at surfaces under high pressure in a confined area.
• Use sandblasting equipment to prepare and clean metal surfaces.
• Set up and operate a blast booth.
• Load and unload the blast cabinet and operate hand sanding machines.
• Operate sandblasting unit safely according to established procedures.
