SunSource in Addison, IL offers a 12-month GO2 Industrial Sales Account Manager Trainee Development Program designed for recent graduates to start a career in outside sales. Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training with 2 years in a related field OR bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Internship or co-op in sales/distribution or manufacturing, or mechanical interest.
• Strong verbal and written communication; outgoing, friendly, and capable of building relationships.
• Willingness to relocate to Addison, IL for 12 months of training.

GO2 is our 12-month development program designed for recent graduates and early career individuals who are interested in starting a career in industrial sales. You will receive comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and dedicated mentorship, preparing you to transition into a full-time outside sales/account manager rolewithin an assigned territorywith SunSource.

What You will Do

• Participate in structured training at our headquarters where you will receive ongoing mentorship, professional development, and in-depth product training
• Learn full cycle outside sales skills and build relationships with new and existing customers to solve real-world customer problems through technical and product solutions
• Work alongside experienced Account Managers on joint sales calls visiting customers on-site

What You will Need

• Associate degree or technical trainingand 2 years of experiencein a related fieldOR bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field. Any experience or certification in hydraulics / fluid power is a great plus.
• Internship or co-op experience in a sales/distribution or manufacturing environmentor individuals with mechanical interest/aptitudepreferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be outgoing, friendly, approachabletobuild relationships with peers and potential customerswith a commitment todelivering top results in a performance-based environment
• Ability torelocateto Addison, IL for 12 months of training at our corporate headquarters

What We Offer

This is a full-time, paid position with a transition into a full-time Account Manager upon completion of the program.

Compensation: $52,000 to $62,000 / year with opportunity for bonus during the training program.

At successful completion of the training program you will be promoted to an Account Manager and eligible for sales commission.
