Job summary

Borusan Berg Pipe is hiring a Safety Technician for our Panama City, FL location. The role focuses on conducting safety inspections, audits, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies in a heavy manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include documenting findings, advising on corrective actions, and promoting safe work practices among employees and management. Flexibility for rotating shifts may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• Familiar with OSHA standards and health & safety policies.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections and audits of facilities, work areas, and equipment.
• Report results of safety inspections to Safety Manager.
• Monitor work practices for health and safety compliance.
• Identify opportunities to minimize workplace injuries and health problems.
• Facilitate discussions on safe workplace practices between employees and management.
• Serve as a source of health and safety information and communicate regulations.
• Collect feedback and suggestions on safety procedures.
• Distribute and post health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties incidental to safety activities.
• Rotating evening or weekend shift may be required.
