Job summary

鴻海精密工業股份有限公司 seeks an EHS professional to ensure a safe, compliant industrial environment. You will lead risk assessments, inspections, incident investigations, and ISO implementation supporting continuous improvement in safety practices across operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace inspections and compliance audits; document findings and verify corrective actions.
• Interpret and apply OSHA and EPA requirements to site activities, programs, and procedures.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations, identify root causes, and work with departments to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses for routine work, equipment changes, and new activities.
• Support OSHA programs including Hazard Communication, PPE, machine guarding, Lockout/Tagout, contractor safety, and emergency preparedness.
• Support environmental programs including chemical management, hazardous waste, spill prevention, stormwater, and permit/reporting requirements.
• Maintain EHS records, inspection reports, training documentation, and compliance schedules.
• Plan or deliver employee training and coach employees, supervisors, and contractors on safe work practices.
• Monitor contractor activities and elevate conditions with significant safety or environmental risks.
• Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation, internal audits, corrective actions, and continual improvement activities.
• Coordinate with department leaders to resolve EHS concerns and communicate corrective actions.

SUMMARY:

The purpose of this position is to ensure a safe and compliant industrial environment by preventing accidents, protecting employees and assets, and maintaining adherence to safety regulations. This role involves managing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and driving continuous improvement in safety practices to foster a culture of safety and operational excellence.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Office-based role, fast-paced work environment

This position must be able to respond to after-hour emergencies and be available to work non-core hours or overtime or nights to complete various projects without interruption to operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

Position Qualification and Requirements -

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Expertise in identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate safety policies, procedures, and risks to stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners, while fostering collaboration across teams.
• Strong ability to analyze safety-related issues, evaluate solutions, and make informed decisions to address challenges and improve safety practices
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA general industry regulations and applicable EPA environmental requirements.
• Experience supporting or maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, including internal audits and corrective actions.
• Experience conducting inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret requirements, communicate findings clearly, and work independently with multiple departments.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification such as GSP/ASP, CSP, or CHMM is preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

At least five years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or another industrial setting. The candidate should have demonstrated experience applying OSHA requirements, supporting compliance with applicable EPA regulations, conducting risk assessments and incident investigations, and implementing corrective actions. Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, including internal audits, is strongly preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interpret regulatory requirements and advise operational teams; and proficiency in maintaining EHS records and tracking compliance deadlines. Must be able to conduct workplace inspections, work in operational areas, wear required PPE, and respond to significant incidents when needed.
