Interlake Mecalux, Inc. seeks a Safety & Environmental Manager to oversee US safety and environmental programs from our Melrose Park, IL office. This role ensures all locations meet OSHA/EPA requirements and drives continuous improvement in safety performance.

You will lead training, audits, and incident investigations, coordinating with HR and plant management. Travel to IL, SC, Dallas, and San Diego may be required as projects demand.

Formación

• 3+ years in health, safety, and/or environmental role in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Willingness to travel to US sites as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Lead safety regulation development and implementation for US locations.
• Coordinate audits/meetings with OSHA, EPA and other agencies.
• Oversee safety training programs and certifications across sites.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives with management.
• Recommend safety features to reduce hazards.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for compliance and hazards.
• Manage accident investigations and corrective actions.
• Report findings to management and stakeholders.
• Evaluate plans for safety compliance in new machinery.
