The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and 3+ years in industrial safety, with OSHA knowledge and experience in investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial safety or a similar role.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards in industrial environments.
• Experience conducting accident investigations and safety audits.
• CSP or OHST certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed accident investigations to determine root causes and preventive actions.
• Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs tailored to departments and roles.
• Manage hazardous waste handling and disposal per environmental regulations.
• Oversee fall protection and respiratory protection programs for high-risk areas.
• Collaborate with management to promote safety awareness and proactive hazard identification.
• Maintain records of incidents, trainings, and compliance activities.
