Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to repair, maintain, and support industrial refrigeration equipment for our customers.

A working knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required to succeed in this role. Responsibilities include routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon equipment, with duties covering 100 HP to 5,000 HP systems and a focus on safety and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ of relevant experience in supermarket/rack/industrial refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of controls and electrical systems (high/low voltage).
• EPA certification required; RETA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance support for industrial refrigeration equipment for food/beverage and refrigerated storage.
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment in industrial settings.
• Inspect and maintain systems using screw and reciprocating compressors; troubleshoot electrical controls and alarm systems.
• Adhere to all safety policies and governing requirements.
