Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to repair and maintain industrial refrigeration equipment for customers across the food and beverage, cold storage, pharmaceutical, and industrial markets.

You will work on ammonia and Freon systems, with emphasis on safety and reliability. Candidates should have HVAC training and EPA license, be able to pass drug and background screens, and be prepared for long shifts and heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or GED; HVAC tech school preferred.
• Universal EPA certification OR ability to obtain.
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred.
• Motor alignment experience is a plus.
• Tobacco-free workplace; no tobacco on job site.
• Pre-employment drug, felony, and MVR screenings; safety-sensitive role.
• Must pass respirator fit test and wear a respirator.
• Physically able to climb ladders and work 10–12 hour days.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance support for industrial refrigeration equipment (100 HP–5,000 HP).
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon systems.
• Apply knowledge of screw and reciprocating compressors, electrical troubleshooting, and control/alarm systems to inspections and maintenance.
• Adhere to all safety policies and governing requirements.
