Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair industrial refrigeration equipment for customers across multiple markets.

The role involves field service, preventive maintenance, and emergency support with a focus on ammonia and Freon systems. You will work from our in-house engineering-to-service pipeline, require at least 5 years of related experience, and hold universal EPA certification; RETA 1&2 preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ of relevant experience required (supermarket/rack/industrial refrigeration systems)
• Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage)
• Universal EPA certification
• Motor alignment experience
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance support to industrial accounts in food and beverage and refrigerated storage equipment
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment
• Use knowledge of screw and reciprocating compressors and electrical controls to perform inspections and preventive maintenance
• Adhere to all work safety policies and governing requirements
