Job summary

Agri Beef in Jerome, ID is seeking motivated Refrigeration Technicians to join our maintenance team at the new state-of-the-art beef processing facility. You will maintain and repair plant refrigeration and boiler/steam equipment to keep production running smoothly.

You'll work with a team to ensure safe, efficient operation of ammonia refrigeration systems, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support continuous improvement initiatives within a family-owned company with

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of three years of industrial refrigeration experience; license/qualification to become licensed preferred.
CARO or CIRO certification through RETA or eligibility to obtain it.

Responsibilities

Work safely following all guidelines, PPE, LOTO, and safety permits.
Operate refrigeration systems; monitor setpoints, temperatures, and pressures.
Troubleshoot and repair compressors, evaporators, condensers, and water chillers.
Troubleshoot boiler equipment and assist maintenance with failures.
Perform scheduled and unplanned maintenance; inspections and integrity checks.
Follow ammonia refrigeration safety practices and operate related equipment.
