Job summary

Johnsonville, LLC. in Holton, KS is seeking a qualified Refrigeration/Boiler Technician to maintain plant refrigeration, HVAC, hot water generation and related utility systems.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, and mentor others while supporting PSM, HAZMAT and safety programs. Requires RETA certification, Class I/II Refrigeration school, ammonia PSM training, and at least 3 years’ industrial refrigeration/boiler experience; PLC and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Industrial Refrigeration and Boiler with electrical, mechanical and plumbing skills.
• PLC experience preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operation of Plant Refrigeration, HVAC, Hot Water Generation, and Utility systems.
• Preventative maintenance and repair of Refrigeration, HVAC, Boiler and Utility equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical problems on plant Refrigeration, HVAC, Direct Fire Water heater, and utilities.
• Drive Plan PSM program and compliance.
• Maintain the plant HAZMAT program and equipment.
• Train/assist others on Refrigeration/HVAC basics, mentoring Qualified Refrigeration Technicians.
• Mentor on Safe Operating Practices and repairs to facility systems.
• Partner with Planner and Parts clerk for spare parts inventory and PM packages.
• Cover areas of the plant as assigned by the Department Coach.
• Maintain regulatory compliance on Wastewater, PSM, Fire Suppression.
• Support Wastewater operations.
