Job summary

Tank Connection in Baxter Springs, KS is seeking a Maintenance & HVAC/R Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of production equipment, facility systems, and refrigeration assets. You will perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.

The role requires an EPA 608 Certification, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 2 years of HVAC/R experience.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
2 years in HVAC/R experience required. Industry credentials in HVAC/R preferred.

Responsibilities

Production equipment repairs — emergency and scheduled maintenance.
Diagnostics & troubleshooting — electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic issues.
Electrical systems work — install, maintain, repair components and control panels.
Plumbing & facility systems — maintain water lines and infrastructure.
Equipment documentation — read manuals, schematics, and work orders.
Detect faulty operations and report issues to leadership.
Refrigeration diagnostics — repair leaks, compressors, rack systems and walk-ins.
Digital controls — configure and calibrate DDC and energy management systems.
Perform routine checks to ensure HVAC/R operation.
Track refrigerant usage and maintain EPA logs.
