Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for our Racine, WI facility. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and installing a range of HVAC equipment, with first-shift scheduling and overtime as needed to support maintenance programs.

The ideal candidate will hold EPA 608 and refrigerant licenses, have at least five years in HVAC, and possess a Journeyman license or technical degree. You will work in a collaborative manufacturing environment with strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal license and refrigerant license.
• Minimum 5 years’ HVAC trade experience.
• Journeyman license or technical degree in HVAC.
• Technical certificates in HVAC trade.
• Able to troubleshoot refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install HVAC equipment including rooftop units, exhaust systems, chillers, DX units, steam & condensate systems, and water utilities.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance plans and contribute to process improvements; maintain system records.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Work independently or in teams; participate in meetings involving problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Be flexible to rotate to different assignments and schedules as needed.
