Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. is seeking a Project Manager for industrial refrigeration projects in Indiana.

The role involves pre-planning and managing construction using company resources to deliver customer satisfaction, improve productivity and profitability. The ideal candidate has experience with ammonia refrigeration systems, a construction/engineering background is a plus, and must be willing to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Reading plan and ISO drawings for material ordering and change orders.
• Knowledge of constructing schedules and updating them (MS Project).
• Ability to order, track, and expedite materials to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date change order, subcontractor, RFI and contingency logs.
• Work with operations manager to ensure labor plan is being carried out.
• Create Mechanical Schedule and Man loading charts on all projects.
• Submit accurate, timely, and complete estimates and change order quotations.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Fabrication Shop to secure schedule, scope and price.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
• Satisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business.
• Other duties as assigned.
