Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead industrial refrigeration projects from initial planning through completion. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in industrial refrigeration or mechanical contracting who can effectively manage multiple projects, customers, subcontractors, budgets, and schedules.

The Senior Project Manager will work closely with customers, engineering teams, field leadership, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage industrial refrigeration projects from planning through final completion and customer handoff.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, permits, and field resources.
• Coordinate with customers, engineering teams, superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Manage bidding, purchase orders, subcontractor buyouts, material takeoffs, and budget-versus-actual costs.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.
• Oversee punch lists, final inspections, lien releases, and project closeout.
• Support industrial refrigeration service contracts, including performance, scheduling, and renewals.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within industrial refrigeration or mechanical contracting.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and equipment, including screw/reciprocating compressors, evaporators, condensers, vessels, controls, and piping.
• Strong experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost management.
• Ability to lead project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered
