Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Pipefitter Helper in Harrisonburg, VA to assist with layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of piping systems for ammonia and other industrial processes. Travel to NC/SC/VA/TN is required most of the year.

You will support with tools, materials, and safety practices while contributing to team projects in a fast-paced environment. EOE M/W/Disability/Vets.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of (Commercial/Industrial) plumbing or pipefitting experience is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of piping systems is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of basic construction/shop math (addition, subtraction, division, fraction, and multiplication).
• Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Ability to work easily and skillfully with hands.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lay out, fabrication, assembly, installation, maintenance and repairs of piping, piping systems, and industrial processing.
• Load and unload construction materials from trucks and into buildings.
• Furnish experienced craft worker with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and devices during installation.
• Perform minor maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment.
• Work safely and comply with health and safety rules and procedures.

ColonialWebb is seeking experienced Pipefitter Helpers to join our Industrial Refrigeration team. As a Pipefitter Helper, you will assist with layout, fabrication, assembly, and installing of piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for ammonia, steam, hot water, heating, cooling, and industrial processing systems.

Pipefitter helpers must be able to travel, majority of the year to service customers in NC, SC, VA, TN.

A day in the life:
