Job summary

Tyson Foods in Sedalia, MO is seeking a maintenance technician to support the refrigeration and processing operations on 1st shift. The role involves working with delivery systems, boilers, HVAC equipment, and related machinery under hot and cold conditions.

The candidate will learn all aspects of the refrigeration department, maintain logs, perform readings, and participate in the safety program, including training in Hi-Tech machinery maintenance and responding to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must pass and maintain level 4 hazmat requirements.
• Six months' industrial maintenance experience including lubrication, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Six months' experience in industrial electrical and pumping.

Responsibilities

• Work on delivery systems, steam boilers, HVAC equipment and related components.
• Learn and perform refrigeration department duties: cleaning, temps, readings, logs.
• Understand and train in the process safety management program.
• Adapt to daily situations and respond to emergencies.
