Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking an Energy & Sustainability Engineer to evaluate energy performance and optimize refrigeration system designs. You will work with engineering, service, and project teams to ensure energy efficiency across projects.

Responsibilities include developing energy models, advising clients on best practices, and reviewing performance data to drive improvements. This role requires travel for energy audits and regulatory needs, with a strong focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and technical software tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop energy models to assess and improve system efficiency.
• Advise customers on energy best practices and efficiency goals.
• Identify deficiencies and propose cost-effective energy solutions.
• Perform site assessments and energy audits of refrigeration systems.
• Review system performance data and prepare actionable reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate energy-efficient practices into new designs.
