Job summary

ASR Group is seeking an Electrical Technician for its Crockett, CA refinery. The role covers routine electrical troubleshooting, installation and restoration of controls, and calibration of refinery instruments to ensure efficient operations.

You will work with blueprints and diagrams, read P&IDs and process flow diagrams, and generate inspection and repair reports while adhering to safety standards and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and calibrate instruments (flow meters, burners, transmitters, levels, temperature, recorders, controllers).
• Install, configure, calibrate and maintain control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog & digital).
• Inspect and test operation to diagnose faults.
• Read blueprints, sketches, specs or verbal instructions for installation and maintenance of electrical and instrument systems.
• Read ladder logic, P&IDs, one-line drawings, process flow diagrams and instrument manuals.
• Create concise inspection, repair and coverage reports.
• Install conduit, piping, cables, wiring for power, light, control and distribution systems.
• Analyze circuits and conditions to determine maintenance actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
