Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Shift Electrician to layout, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across refinery equipment. The role requires reading blueprints, planning complex installations, and ensuring safe operation of high-voltage systems.

The position demands four years of industrial electrical experience in a refinery, plus NCCER certification. Candidates must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• NCCER Certification.
• Four years industrial electrical experience within a refinery.

Responsibilities

• Assigned to maintenance and repairs, but also performs construction work when required.
• Performs work assigned by supervisor; in the absence of the Electrical Supervisor, responds to orders from Shift Engineer or other departments.
• Plans major and difficult installations from blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
• Installs, connects, and repairs complicated interlocks.
• Splices high voltage wires and solders high voltage connections.
• Instructs lower mechanics in the proper performance of their duties as may be required.
