Job summary

ASR Group in the San Francisco area is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep refinery equipment in top condition under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. The role covers a broad range of mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include welding/burning, pipe work, rigging, and coordination with maintenance and operations staff across multiple groups.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance or service organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance services through the refinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance including rigging, metal fabrication, welding/burning, pipe installation and repairs, and building crafts work.
• Clean and lubricate mechanical equipment.
• Collaborate with refinery maintenance and operations staff to address daily problems.
• Work in one of the maintenance groups (refinery, warehouse, pipe/metal, building crafts, garage, raw sugar).
