Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking an Industrial Mechanic in Corvallis, OR to maintain and repair industrial pumps, electric motors, and related systems. You will execute preventive maintenance, perform condition monitoring, and document findings to support reliable operations for client facilities.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, safety focus, and the ability to read technical drawings and work orders, with strong emphasis on downtime planning and collaboration with operations teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience with pumps and motors.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, manuals, drawings and schematics.
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience with pump teardown/rebuild and motor alignment.
• Follow PM procedures and maintain maintenance documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair centrifugal, positive displacement, and specialty pumps.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC motors and motor‑driven equipment; perform alignments.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend life.
• Perform PM tasks including lubrication, bearing inspections, and calibrations.
• Collect vibration readings and flag abnormal conditions for follow‑up action.
• Document work performed, measurements, parts used, and follow‑up recommendations.
• Coordinate downtime with operations and ensure safe lockout/tagout procedures.
• Support emergency response and after-hours work as needed.
