Job summary

PSG is seeking an Applications Engineer for its Grand Terrace, CA location. The role focuses on technical guidance for product selection, training, and supporting sales with engineering expertise in pumps, valves, and rotating equipment.

Hybrid work arrangement with opportunities to interact on the manufacturing floor and with customers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience, strong problem‑solving skills, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of engineering experience in pumps, valves, system design, rotating equipment or related field.
• Ability to select a pump and/or accessories based on application requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to sales and channel partners on product selection and configuration.
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting to channel partners and end users.
• Lead internal and external product training for teams and customers.
• Support marketing activities with technical content and trade shows.
• Conduct market research and report on competitive products and opportunities.
