Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is seeking a Pump Mechanic Associate to assemble, disassemble, and repair pumps for industrial use. The role includes diagnosing pump problems, identifying parts, and maintaining shop safety and organization.

Candidates should have strong mechanical skills, HS diploma or GED, and a valid DOT Medical Card. Pre-employment screening and potential driving duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical experience preferred.
• Hands-on mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to operate and maintain a variety of mechanical tools.
• Experience repairing equipment to working order using mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and inspect submersible, centrifugal, split case, and vertical pumps.
• Record parts and materials needed and request new parts.
• Help develop machine shop expansion.
• Cross train in repairing mechanical seals (training provided).
• Test completed pumps according to procedures.
• Maintain a neat and orderly shop.
• Follow environmental and safety policies.
• Possible back-up driver duties.

Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill a need for a Pump Mechanic Associate! This role will assemble, disassemble, and repair pumps for industrial use as well as diagnose pump problems and identify parts needed for repair.

Responsibilities:

• Dismantle and inspect all equipment to include submersible, centrifugal, split case, and vertical pumps.
• Record parts and materials needed and request new parts and materials.
• Help to develop machine shop expansion.

• Test completed pumps according to written procedures.

• Know, understand, and abide by environmental and safety policies.
• May be responsible for providing back up driver duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Two years of mechanical experience preferred.
• Additional on-the-job training is available.
• High School or GED/Vocational School.
• Valid state issued license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Occasionally assist in deliveries to customers.
• Hands on mechanical proficiency.
• Ability to operate and maintain a variety of mechanical tools.
• Experience in repairing damaged equipment back to working order by applying mechanical knowledge to problem solve.
• Ability to operate automated lifting equipment.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pound objects.
• Keep management informed of work and backlog.

Pay Range:

$20.02 - $30.03

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
