Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Pump Mechanic Associate in California to assemble, disassemble and repair industrial pumps. You will diagnose pump issues, identify parts, and maintain a clean, organized shop while following safety policies.

The role requires at least a high school diploma (GED) and mechanical experience; a valid DOT Medical Card is needed or obtainable. Pay starts at $20.02 per hour, with potential to earn more based on experience.

• Two years of mechanical experience preferred.
• HS or GED required; vocational training beneficial.
• DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.

Mansioni

• Dismantle and inspect pumps (submersible, centrifugal, split case, vertical).
• Record parts and request new parts; assist machine shop expansion.
• Cross-train in repairing mechanical seals.
• Test pumps according to procedures; maintain a tidy shop.
• Provide back-up driver duties as needed.

This role will assemble, disassemble, and repair pumps for industrial use as well as diagnose pump problems and identify parts needed for repair.Responsibilities:Dismantle and inspect all equipment to include submersible, centrifugal, split case, and vertical pumpsRecord parts and materials needed and request new parts and materialsHelp to develop machine shop expansionCross train in repairing mechanical seals (will train)Test completed pumps according to written proceduresMaintain a neat and orderly shopKnow, understand, and abide by environmental and safety policiesMay be responsible for providing back up driver duties and responsibilitiesQualifications:Two years of mechanical experience preferredAdditional on-the-job training is availableHigh School or GED/Vocational SchoolValid state issued license is requiredMust be at least 21 years of agePossession of a DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain a DOT Medical CardOccasionally assist in deliveries to customersHands on mechanical proficiencyAbility to operate and maintain a variety of mechanical toolsExperience in repairing damaged equipment back to working order by applying mechanical knowledge to problem solveAbility to operate automated lifting equipmentAbility to lift and move 50+ pound objectsKeep management informed of work and backlogPay starts at $30 per hour but could be more based on experience*Pre-employment drug and background screening required*At Ferguson, we care for each other.
