Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking an Entry Level Fabrication Associate. The role focuses on setting up and maintaining shop machines for pipe fabrication, measuring and cutting pipe, and assembling pipe orders.

You will move pipe within the yard and follow strict safety procedures daily. The position requires basic fabrication aptitude, strong math skills, and the ability to work a 5-day schedule with early or later shifts.

Competenze

• Prior fabrication experience is preferred but not required.
• Outstanding math skills and the ability to calculate quantities on hand.
• Experience operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe per OSHA regulations preferred.
• Ability to stay results-focused in a fast-paced customer service environment.

Mansioni

• Setup and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication.
• Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe length.
• Measure and cut pipe with band saw and/or torch, rolling and grooving random lengths and threading/beveling.
• Move pipe from locations within the pipe yard and assemble pipe orders.
• Observe safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, assembly, stacking and shipping.
• Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA and Ferguson SOPs.
