Job summary

EPITEC in Claremore, Oklahoma is seeking a Mechanical Assembler I to support the assembly of industrial pump systems in a manufacturing environment. You will stage materials, prepare components and assist assembly to maintain smooth production flow, using basic hand tools and handling equipment.

This onsite role offers 1st or 2nd shift, $20.00/hour, and a 1-year contract with the possibility of conversion to a permanent W2 position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Stage materials and components for assembly operations.
• Retrieve parts from inventory and organize materials for production teams.
• Set up components and materials in preparation for final assembly.
• Safely use hand tools and material handling equipment.
• Operate pallet jacks and electric pallet jacks as needed.
• Support assemblers and production personnel to maintain workflow and productivity.
• Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with inventory movement and material preparation activities as assigned.
