Job summary

DP Electric Inc. is seeking an Industrial Project Manager to own electrical and instrumentation projects in operating facilities across the Southwest.

You will manage the full lifecycle from award through commissioning and turnover, with schedule, scope, budget, and client relationships at the forefront. The role requires coordinating with our UL508A panel shop, controls and instrumentation teams, and planning around shutdown windows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Five (5) years of experience in the electrical contracting industry, with a focus on project management.
• Experience managing projects in operating industrial facilities, including work sequenced around shutdowns or tie-ins to live systems.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned industrial projects from award through commissioning, turnover, and closeout, delivering on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop Method of Procedures documents and execution plans that account for plant operations, outage windows, and tie-in sequencing.
• Monitor progress against milestones and act on delays, scope changes, and the field conditions that come with existing facilities.
• Coordinate with the Prefab Department and our UL508A panel shop on control panel fabrication, delivery, and Factory Acceptance Testing.
• Review purchase orders, submittals, and contracts, and maintain the change order log.
• Price and negotiate change orders.
• Manage project billing, keeping invoicing accurate and on time.
• Lead project meetings and provide direction to field leadership and coordinators.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering

OSHA 30 certification

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
