Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a project in Richmond, VA. The role requires 5–10 years of PM experience in a self-performing contractor environment, with heavy industrial construction background preferred.

Willingness to travel and knowledge of estimating processes are essential. The Project Manager will lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with clients, supervision, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of PM experience in heavy industrial construction or related fields.
• Experience managing projects up to $1M with high complexity.
• Strong client relations and business development background.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and risk management.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Promote and uphold company values and culture on site.
• Collaborate daily with client, PMs, and supervision to plan and oversee projects.
• Manage all cost aspects including estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Utilize scheduling tools and contract knowledge to manage scope changes and milestones.
• Develop relationships to identify and cultivate new project opportunities.
• Plan resources and schedule tasks to meet project demands.
• Ensure compliance with codes and company policies; monitor safety program and PPE usage.
• Provide regular status updates to senior management; travel to jobsites as needed.
