Olsson seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial facilities engineering and design projects. You will oversee multi-disciplinary deliverables, manage scope, schedule and budget, and ensure on-time completion with high-quality results.

The role emphasizes collaboration, ownership, client service, and mentoring staff to uphold safety and design standards across challenging industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, construction, planning, or a related area preferred.
• Eight years of project experience in an applicable field or discipline with increasing responsibility.
• Proven track record in meeting and exceeding client expectations through project management activities.
• Excellent client service orientation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills with ability to generate innovative solutions.
• High level of organization, leadership and negotiation skills.
• Keen interest in various engineering disciplines, particularly within the industrial sector.

Responsibilities

• Assemble project teams, assigning responsibilities to align skills with objectives.
• Manage complex contract negotiations.
• Serve as primary liaison with project team, client, and contractors on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop project budgets, review costs, and track adherence to plan.
• Manage change requests, implement risk management techniques and minimize financial impact.
• Organize and conduct routine project meetings and ensure performance alignment.
• Coordinate reviews of technical work to ensure high-quality output.
• Document deliverables and maintain comprehensive project records.
• Mentor staff on project management best practices and ensure safety procedures.
