Job summary

Luminate Partners in California seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead major industrial, manufacturing, and mission-critical projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll partner with field operations, owners, design teams, and subcontractors to deliver safely, on time, and within budget on high-profile California ventures.

The role emphasizes creating robust schedules, controlling costs, and maintaining strong client relationships while advancing within a growing contractor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience with a General Contractor.
• Background delivering industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or mission-critical projects.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and project controls.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work on projects throughout California.
• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules.
• Overseeing project budgets and cost controls.
• Managing subcontractor buyout and procurement processes.
• Reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinating design teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Monitoring project progress and driving schedule performance.
• Identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Leading project meetings and maintaining client relationships.
• Supporting field teams and coordinating with Superintendents.
• Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and company standards.
• Successfully delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
