Job summary

SPX FLOW is seeking a Project Manager for its Rochester, NY and Palmyra, PA manufacturing sites. The role centers on supervising and facilitating the execution of complex customer orders with a focus on meticulous order management and on-time completion.

You will develop project plans, track progress, manage documentation and invoicing, and coordinate with engineering, commercial, and finance teams. Travel ~10% to customer sites as needed; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical-based discipline from a four-year college or university.
• 5-10 years in Project Management within a manufacturing setting, handling highly complex projects.
• PMP, PMI certification a plus.
• Proficient in managing concurrent responsibilities and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans tailored to order management, outlining tasks, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Act as the central point of contact for all order-related inquiries and escalations within the industrial manufacturing domain.
• Manage customer-required documentation and submittals in adherence to Vendor Document Requirements (VDR).
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Act as the main liaison for channel partners addressing order-related inquiries and providing regular updates; travel ~10% as needed.
• Work with Application Engineering and Commercial teams during quote evaluation for industrial projects.
