Job summary

Separation By Design, Inc. is seeking a Project/Industrial Engineer to lead full engineering cycles in the Diesel Exhaust Fluid and Oil & Gas sectors. You will partner with manufacturing, R&D, quality, and customer support to deliver cost-effective, compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes developing innovative designs from concept through production, with cross-functional teamwork and ongoing process improvements. Strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and documentation is required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in mechanical design and fluid handling systems.
SolidWorks 3-D modeling and drafting for complex components.
Understanding of ERP BOM creation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Sales and users to define project specs and quotations.
Prepare detailed quotations and create sales orders for engineered parts.
Maintain project reports with schedules, costs, and labor estimates.
Design and oversee systems with automated equipment; ensure regulatory compliance.
Develop design changes with cost, safety, and quality improvements.
Produce flow diagrams, schematics, and drawings and verify accuracy.
