Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical school or community college graduate with industry experience.
• Seven years combined experience as a project designer, drafter, CAD operator, or similar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software.
• Experience with CAD software and building technology fundamentals.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform architectural assignments based on predetermined design concepts.
• Assist lead architect in design decisions for construction.
• Produce sketches, layouts, plans, and drawings from project information.
• Develop, modify, and review drawings to established standards.
• Produce construction documents and complete drawing sets.
• Review and verify shop drawings for design intent and accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients.
• Support business development activities as necessary.
