Job summary

Saulsbury Industries is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support and manage stages of industrial construction projects on a Permian Basin project site. You will oversee materials, subcontractor selection, budgeting, scheduling, and information flow from the Project Manager to the team.

You will monitor progress, prepare proposals and correspondence, and help ensure on-time project delivery while maintaining cost controls and quality standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of industrial construction experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with common business software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements.
• Assist with procurement: RFQs, ordering materials, ensuring timely delivery to site.
• Develop technical queries and RFIs to resolve engineering solutions.
• Plan and manage team goals, schedules and new information.
• Supervise projects and coordinate team members to keep workflow on track.
• Prepare and review proposals, memos, minutes, and emails.
