Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Architect – Industrial Buildings in Fresno, CA, to develop elevations, sections, 3D renderings, and architectural details for industrial projects such as warehouses and cold storage facilities.

You will leverage BIM with three-dimensional models, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure designs meet budget, schedule, and program requirements. A CA-registered architect with 8+ years’ experience is preferred, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architecture or bachelor’s degree supporting licensure criteria.
• Registered Architect in California.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Proficient in BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and related design software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and directing work through the project life cycle.
• Develop design through sketches, models, diagrams, and massing studies.
• Use BIM to develop 3D models of buildings and components.
• Participate in design critiques and pin-ups.
• Interpret and apply building codes and requirements.
• Prepare and revise documentation across architectural phases.
• Lead coordination with internal and external teams.
• Support cost estimating and constructability reviews.
