Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Production Technician I to join our heavy industrial manufacturing team. You will operate basic production equipment, handle raw materials, and support processes used to produce load-bearing chain and fittings.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
0-1 years of manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or related experience.

Responsibilities

Operate basic production equipment (presses, cutters, tumblers, assembly stations).
Handle raw materials (steel bars, wire, forged components).
Perform forming, cutting, or finishing operations per work instructions.
Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
Load and unload materials and finished products.
Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections for quality.
Monitor equipment and report issues to supervisors.
Maintain production records and documentation as required.
Support 5S housekeeping to keep a clean, organized area.
