Job summary

The Hillman Group, including Campbell Chain, is seeking a Manufacturing Production Technician II for the York, PA facility. This role focuses on operating and monitoring production equipment to manufacture chain products and fittings, with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.

The position offers training on 1st shift for 3–6 months before transitioning to the 3rd shift (9:00 PM–7:00 AM, Sun–Thu). A strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience or related field.
• Experience operating production equipment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to perform equipment setups and adjustments.
• Experience using measuring and inspection tools.
• Ability to identify and resolve routine production issues.
• Ability to read work instructions and product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment used in forming, machining, threading, welding, heat treating, and finishing chain products.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Conduct inspections using gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Production Technician II is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment used to manufacture chain products and fittings. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot routine production issues while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

Schedule

• Candidates will initially train on 1st shift (600 AM to 400 PM) for approximately 3 to 6 months before moving to the 3rd shift schedule.
• 3rd shift is from 900 PM - 700 AM, Sunday through Thursday
• Overtime may be required on Fridays based on business needs
• Schedule may vary based on business needs

What You’ll Do

• Ability to perform equipment setups and adjustments.
• Experience using measuring and inspection tools.
• Ability to identify and resolve routine production issues.
• Ability to read work instructions and product specifications.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
