Job summary

CMC is hiring for a role in our reinforcement and steel products operation. You will be trained on equipment and may operate cranes and fabrication machines while contributing to a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Able to read technical documents and service manuals.
• Strong work ethic and safe working habits.
• Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to operate fabrication machines without supervision.
• Overtime may be required.
• Stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture
• Crosstrain on multiple machines
• Operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, welders, etc.)
• Perform additional duties as needed
