Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking candidates to join its production and fabrication teams in Las Vegas. The role involves operating fabrication equipment, adhering to safety standards, and supporting loading/unloading of materials in a dynamic industrial environment.

You will participate in training programs, work outdoors in all weather, and collaborate with a team to meet production goals while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures.
• Follow safety policies, rules and regulations.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Overtime availability required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and read technical documents.
• Willingness to train across roles.
• Stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment
• Perform additional duties as needed
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Operate production machines per procedures and guidelines
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold Safety Culture
• Operate fabrication equipment (shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders)
