Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required); technical or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in maintenance work.
• Forklift and hoist experience.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance software and reporting.
• Understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, or on-call as needed.
• Certification in industrial maintenance (e.g., HVAC, PLC, welding) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and request parts as needed.
• Perform routine inspections to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• Coordinate with outside technicians and production teams to support operations.
• Assist with equipment upgrades or installations and shop setup.
• Record repair and maintenance information clearly in logs and spreadsheets.
• Assist production as required.
