Job summary

The Lindgren Group is seeking an experienced Industrial / Production Maintenance Technician for Nico Products in Minneapolis. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of production equipment and process systems in a metal-finishing environment.

The successful candidate will diagnose mechanical and process issues, maintain pumps, motors, valves, and plastic piping, and perform HVAC and basic plumbing tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Industrial, manufacturing, processing, or production maintenance experience is required.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing production machinery and equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing pumps, motors, valves, and mechanical systems.
• Preventive maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production machinery and equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs.
• Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, valves, and related mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process problems to determine the underlying cause of failures.
• Maintain and repair plastic process piping used to move chemicals throughout production.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and systems.
• Read and follow equipment manuals, work orders, procedures, and technical information.
