Employbridge is seeking a Chief Product Engineer to lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of innovative industrial products. This hands-on leadership role requires guiding projects from concept to production while collaborating with customers, vendors, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate brings strong product design experience, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record in material handling or conveyor systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 10+ years in product engineering or related field.
• Experience in material handling, conveyor systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, development, testing, and enhancement of new and existing products.
• Create 3D models and product designs using SolidWorks and other engineering software.
• Develop engineering drawings, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Ensure designs meet customer specifications, performance requirements, and quality standards.
• Serve as the lead engineering contact for customer projects, managing timelines and communications.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source prototype materials and production components.
• Plan and oversee prototype builds and product validation testing.
• Analyze test data and implement design improvements based on results and field feedback.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities through design optimization and supplier partnerships.
• Conduct competitive product evaluations and provide technical support to sales and marketing teams.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and processes to promote consistency and efficiency.
• Mentor and lead engineering staff while fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture.
