Job summary

Ingredion is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to perform installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. The role requires working safely in a continuous-operations plant and using SAP for maintenance records.

The position offers a full benefits package including 401(k) matched up to 3%, health, life, and disability insurance, with a typical 7 AM–3 PM Monday to Friday shift. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Technical training from an accredited technical school or equivalent; certification in industrial math, industrial electrical, or instrumentation preferred.
• Knowledge of medium-voltage electrical systems, PLCs, and VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and start-up process control and electrical systems.
• Repair electrical equipment and perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Use technical documentation to troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment and keep records.
