Job summary

Hereford Ethanol Partners, L.P. is seeking an Electrical Instrumentation Technician to maintain electrical and instrumentation systems across the plant. You will troubleshoot PLC/DCS controls, install instrumentation, and ensure safe, efficient production by responding to changing plant conditions.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical maintenance, motors, VFDs, and control panels, plus strong problem-solving, teamwork, and ability to lift up to 60 lbs in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong electrical and instrumentation knowledge.
• Experience with PLC/DCS programming and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems such as Maximo.

Responsibilities

• Maintain instrumentation and electrical systems across the plant.
• Repair and troubleshoot motors, starters, VFDs, wiring, and panels.
• Program PLC/DCS and monitor control systems.
• Inspect for malfunctions using meters, gauges, alarms, and signals.
• Calibrate and adjust instruments to control process variables.
• Lift up to 60 lbs and work in confined spaces when needed.
