Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline is required.
• 5–10+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, process, or project engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of industrial mechanical systems, process engineering, and plant operations.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, technical writing, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in industrial plant environments and traveling as needed.
• Willingness to travel domestically 20–30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope, budgets, schedules, and implementation plans for engineering and process improvement projects.
• Design, size, and select industrial process equipment including conveyors, heat exchangers, boilers, piping systems, pumps, tanks, valves, air and water condensers, ductwork, air scrubbing systems, and industrial cookers.
• Generate and maintain P&IDs, PFDs, heat and mass balances, equipment and motor lists, piping and tie-in lists.
• Partner with Instrumentation & Controls, Automation, Electrical, CAD, and Installation teams to support project execution and company engineering standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external vendors/resources for equipment sizing, specifications, and technical support.
• Support installation activities and ensure field modifications are documented and updated appropriately in project drawings and closeout documentation.
• Communicate project scope changes, technical challenges, and process improvement recommendations throughout project lifecycle.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and engineering support for plant operations and installation issues.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization, communication, and schedule alignment.
