Job summary

ThreePDS Inc. in the Cincinnati area is seeking a Corporate Engineer to support capital projects, process improvements, equipment upgrades, and safety initiatives across multiple industrial facilities.

The role involves developing scope, budgets, schedules, selecting equipment, coordinating with internal teams, and providing field support. Travel will be approximately 20-30% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5-10+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, process, or project engineering.
• Experience with industrial mechanical systems, process engineering, and plant operations.
• Willingness to travel 20-30%.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope, budgets, schedules, and implementation plans for engineering and process improvement projects.
• Design, size, and select industrial process equipment including boilers, piping systems, pumps, tanks, valves, air and water condensers, ductwork, and related equipment.
• Generate and maintain P&IDs, PFDs, heat and mass balances, and equipment/motor lists.
• Coordinate with Instrumentation & Controls, Automation, Electrical, CAD, and Installation teams to support project execution.
• Support installation activities and ensure field modifications are documented in drawings and closeout documentation.
• Communicate project scope changes and technical challenges throughout the lifecycle.
